I have one Nabyn invitation to give out if anyone is interested. So far they are only letting on artists for the beta, so you have to do your own art.

Let me know if you'd like it
Ever since I graduated college I worked in environments where there was a dress code. Generally slacks or dark jeans and nice shirts. I wore had to dress to fit the label a "Corporate Workplace" or some such nonsense. I didn't much care for the crap but I did it. I had dark slacks and browns slacks and a plethora of boring button up blouses.

When I began freelancing I got rid of about half of them. But I couldn't bear to get rid of it all. What if I needed them again. What if I ended up having to go back to being 'A Creative' in that huge and corporate world that requires a uniform of that type? So lounging in the back of my closet, taking up far to much space were the shirts that needed ironing (HA) and the pants that were dry clean only (I mean why do they even make those)? And a variety of shoes that I haven't worn in a year and a half now.

Until this week.
I finally said "SCREW IT! I'm not going back to that crap, and thats what they have stores for anyhow!" I chucked all my clothes into a bag and they are sitting in a little pile waiting to go to Goodwill. Someone else can have joy of them.

It is strange, now that my closet consists of my few dressy, and fun outfits, and my normal cargo pants and tank tops it is a strange sense of relief.  I've cut those last lingering doubts out of my head. I AM an artist. I'm making a living doing this dammit. And to hell with those little voices in the back of my head. THIS is what I am doing.

Cargo Pants and kisses to all
I started painting these little guys a few month ago and just love them. It is so fun for me to work SO small. And it lets me work out a lot of color and style experiments that I might be nervous about large. The top two are sold but the bottom one (the King of Spades) is still available.

And my apologies for not being around much... my parents split up and I kind of didn't want to do much of anything that I didn't NEED to do for a little while.
