When you think song lyrics are one thing and they are something else. I am the worst at this.  I'll be merrily singing along with words that aren't at all right... but they sound okay.  Seems fine to me.  I can't understand the D*MN singer anyhow.

Had this song I used to sing to.  I didn't love it, but it was popular, came on the radio a lot, my friends liked it.  It was okay.

I thought the chorus was "Snap my picture"

One day, after a while of grimacing while listening to me sing (I am decent but my brother has that crazy musical ear that is very sensitive).  He pauses and stares at me.

"umm, Laura, what do you think the lyrics are?"
"Snap my picture"
*LAUGHS*
"Seriously?"
"Umm... yeah, what are they"
"Slap that B*TCH up"
"Well, that's not the same at all!"
"NO and will you stop singing now"

Ehm... so the other day I was driving home and heard this song.
Got home and told Todd
"I don't understand. I'm sure it's not what they were aiming for, but this song was talking about Socks on Fire, I know it's not right, but that's all I can hear."
Today I'm driving home and hear it again.
This time my brain turns on.
Flip out my phone, hit the Shazam app.
