Con Wrap up
Whew... well, FC was quite a whirlwind.
I flew in on Thursday (coincidentally I ended up on the same plane as Mitch and Balto, which I thought was AWESOME) and got in eeeeaaaaarly... in the hotel by 9:30am and they didn't let us in the room until 3 - blagh. Told me I could leave my bags with the bellhop, but he wasn't paying much attention and I feel funny leaving art and things that are hard to replace with someone who isn't really paying any attention to what he is watching.
Got to meet up with the most awesome Wolf-Nymph and her boyfriend at noon, whereupon I kept them company as they waited in the CRAZY line for pre-reg (for her boyfriend, as he was assisting her). Then dinner and a chance to hang out with them for quite a while.
Friday through Sunday was crazy and hectic. Selling went pretty well. Didn't do great, but definitely justified the trip out there. Got a chance to hang out with a bunch of amazing people (SOooo many... Balaa, Bagheera, Artlan, Idess, Jadesay, Dark Natasha (however briefly), Ebony Tigress, Hawaiin Style, and so many more)!

My Roomies! FTW guys, seriously!
Meeting FANTASTIC people I had only previously seen online.
Selling art to people who I admire *blushes*
Being RECOGNIZED by people I admire *blushes even more*

Dear GOD the waiting line for pre-reg - SO loud - So ConStenchful - SO nasty
The Fairmont. I had heard great things and then they treated legit concerns like we were nothing
The girl who inconvenienced me for a quite a while, and treated me like I was a robot then changed her mind about a purchase, thanks.

So overall. NO MORE HALF TABLES EVER AGAIN. Is makes my sales fall down go boom.
Erm, yeah. People kept thinking I was Myenia or vise versa, or we were a team like Blotch. So yeah...
And super mad props to the people who pimped my work KyellGold you are full of awesome. And if you guys don't know him you need to go check out his work and his LJ, for he is amazing.
Still exhausted and catching up from the con.
